COLLECTION FROM THE AIRPORT We are happy to collect and return you to the airport, this maybe of interest to you, particularly if you plan to spend your holiday exploring the area on foot. We will also be happy to discuss taking you to an alternative destination if you are splitting your holiday and visiting several areas.
Taxis are easily available from the airport which will cost approximately €90 to Sedella. Hiring a car is therefore the most economical, particularly if want to explore the area. The price for Europa does not include petrol which you will have to pay for on collection and return the car with an empty tank.

Europa are located downstairs from the baggage reclaim in the on-airport rentacar area.
Making your own way From Malaga airport you follow the road towards Malaga city. After 3km the right hand lane takes you onto the N340 towards Almeria / Mortil. 9km later the N331 Antequera splits from the N340 via the right-hand lane, but you continue in the middle or left-hand lane on the N340. Approximately 35km later you leave the N340 for Velez-Malaga and the A335. As you leave the motorway you will be on a large roundabout and the second exit will take you into the local shopping centre. Take the fourth exit from the roundabout, counting the entrance to the shopping centre as one, will take you onto the road to Colmenar / Casabermeja / Alhama de Granada. This is initially labelled C335 and after the first roundabout A335 / A356. You want to remain on this road, rather than follow the signs for Velez-Malaga, which lead into the town centre. You will pass Velez-Malaga, Trapiche and two large petrol stations on your right and after 9.8km from where you left the motorway there is a sign pointing to the right "Canillas de Aceituno / Sedella / Salares". You follow this sign which takes you left after 300m and right after another 1.4km, then up the hillside for 7.5 kilometers to Canillas de Aceituno. There is now a new bypass around this village, please be careful when you approach the small roundabout, keep to the right to bypass Canillas de Aceituno and proceed to Sedella. 3km after the last house of Canillas de Aceituno there is a sign "Bienvenidos a Sedella" and you still remain on the tarmac road here. 2.4km after this sign you finally be able to see Sedella. The first building you will see on your left hand side is the hostel “Casa Pinta”; we suggest you call in here for a refreshment and telephone us and we will come and meet you when you are ready.
