The cortijo sits in a plot in excess of 4,000sqm and has a build of almost 200sqm.  There are in excess of a hundred fruit trees including orange and lemon trees.  This hideaway (albeit only a few minutes drive from the nearest village) has the benefit of an additional wooden chalet on the grounds next to a running river, here there are idyllic spots for relaxing, watching the wildlife and freshening up in the dip-pools in the river. The soil is fertile here and so there are vegetable patches providing organic produce which the owner resources for guests.

The chalet:

close to the river (only a few steps to an early morning dip!) and surrounded by orange trees - an absolute delight when the trees are in blossom. It has its own terrace, an internal sunroom, a combined living room and kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a bedroom and a bathroom.
 

The Cortijo is full of characterful features such as old rustic doors, beamed ceilings and natural stone floors.

There are 4 bedrooms en-suite.  2 of the  bedrooms have kitchen areas and access to their own terraces allowing self contained accommodation and separate entrances.  Ideal for privacy for visiting friends.  The remaining 2 bedrooms are large double rooms with en-suite.

The living area consists of a beautiful traditional Andalucian kitchen and large dining room, lounge with open fire and an additional cloakroom off the living area.

The house has several terraced areas and a swimming pool .
